Eugene McVerry, CFA
Founder & Director
Eugene is a Chartered Financial Analyst with ten years of experience across credit and equity investment management, corporate finance, and industry.
Before starting Grey Fort, Eugene's credit experience with Blackstone was focused on the European Leveraged Loan and High Yield bond market, while BMS Finance (now Beach Point Capital) was direct lending to Irish SMEs. His public equity and corporate finance roles were with Blacksheep Fund Management and KPMG.
Industry coverage has included Advertising & Media, Utilities, Retail, Hospitality, Healthcare, Education, Technology, Construction, Infrastructure, Packaging, and Real Estate Business Services.
Eugene was part of the 2009 U-18 All-Ireland Championship winning team and has representative honours for Armagh Gaelic Football across U-18, U-21, and Senior grades.
